About Fertility Awareness Method (FAM)

Fertility Awareness Method is a form of natural family planning method. It observes the use of physical signs and symptoms that change alongside hormone fluctuations throughout the menstrual cycle, including the cervical fluid. This helps to identify the fertile window for barrier contraception to be used in order to avoid pregnancy.

Why use FAM?

Fertility Awareness Method is a reliable and natural method of contraception and is science backed. It avoids having to rely on contraception that is pumped full of synthetic hormones, which stops ovulation and a number of associated health issues, whilst feeling confident with a natural form of contraception.

The well researched and science-backed method works by tracking changes in cervical mucus to identify the fertile and infertile phases of the menstrual cycle.
